Dotty's Pharm pollen and honey suspension was designed with the science of oral tolerance in mind. Inspired by age-old traditional remedies and our own experience we bring you natures most powerful seasonal companion yet.

What is it?

A carefully balanced suspension of raw golden Cheshire honey (from our very own apiary) lovingly blended with single origin pollen (collected by our very own bees) bound together by a touch of organic agave nectar.

Will it work for me?

We can't (are not allowed to) make claims about the effectiveness of our products. We can however bore you with as much of the science behind our thinking as you are willing to read! Will it only work in Cheshire?

Currently all of our pollen that we use is collected in-house from our Apiary in Cheshire. This allows us to ensure the provenance of 100% of our ingredients, allowing us to give you 100% certified British pollen in keeping with our mission. Thankfully the UK is a relatively small geographical area and therefore, the majority of plant species and hay-fever culprits are common across the UK and not just confined to regions. We are confident that even if you live 400 miles away, our pollen mixes will still have many similarities with the pollen mixes that you encounter at home. In the future we are seeking to build relationships with trusted bee farmers around the UK which will enable us to access more region-specific pollen blends.

Why those ingredients?

Honey is nature's original superfood. A natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory it is the perfect base to our pollen suspension. Both our honey and our pollen come from our very own hives in Cheshire. This allows us to ensure beyond all doubt the provenance of our produce, essential to be able to ensure quality and the best 100% British pollen samples (essential for achieving tolerance to the appropriate strains that we all encounter on the British Isles). We combine all of this with organic agave nectar, chosen as an essential addition to aid suspension but also bringing its own health benefits to the table. A source of vitamin B6 (a useful digestive aid), low glycaemic index and containing inulin, a prebiotic fibre that supports gut health we feel it aligns perfectly with our goal.

How much do I need to take?

We advise taking 5mL of suspension once daily. This allows the body to gently build tolerance over time. We have carefully designed our suspension to contain an average dose of 100mg/5mL as raw pollen mass.

How is it packaged?

We bottle our suspension exclusively in high quality spirit-grade glass corked with a premium wooden-topped, synthetic-stem cork. We then seal this with a wax dip using our own beeswax collected from our apiary. Not only does this smell fantastic and give you a real feel of the hive but it also helps to retain freshness and prevent spillage in transit!
